This 8.57ct natural pear shaped cabochon Black Star Sapphire pendant is set with brilliant diamonds in 18ct white gold and handmade in New Zealand. Natural Black Star Sapphires show a six-ray star when under incandescent bulb light or sunlight – they are not treated in any way. Star Sapphires are said to be the most powerful Sapphires and are collectively known as the Stones of Destiny.
